If you are just wanting to change the lockscreen clock font, the easiest way is to rename your font file whatever you want to replace it with. I.E For JB, the lockscreen clock font is AndroidClock.ttf and to be safe I also replace AndroidClock_Highlight.ttf and AndroidClock_Solid.ttf. So change the font name that you want to use to those and put them in your system/font folder. Upon flashing those fonts will overwrite the existing ones and change the lockscreen clock font

While we are talking about font switching.. Am I to understand that I can substitute whatever font I want as long as I rename it to one of the system fonts( roboto,ex)..and even if it is not a true type, as long as I keep. ttf, it would work? I've never tried but figured I'd ask.

In my experience it had to be .ttf. It didn't work with .otf files. But I have not tried .otf rename to .ttf with JB so I cannot say for sure

In theory, I think it should work. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the xml is linked to the font title, and pulls the data from that file.

That's why it took me so long to get this out. I kept going back and changing little things along the way, and had a few errors with my processes that I had to figure out (not without some help lol). And then someone would update the Rom, so I'd have to go back and copy stuff over, then I'd find more stuff that needed work. When I started this, I really had no idea how much work went into making a theme!

Trying to center the clock, date, and status on the lockscreen. After some searching, I tried to adjust these margins:

framework-res/res/values/dimens.xml

<dimen name="keyguard_lockscreen_status_line_font_size">15.0dip</dimen>
<dimen name="keyguard_lockscreen_status_line_font_right_margin">42.0dip</dimen>
<dimen name="keyguard_lockscreen_status_line_clockfont_top_margin">22.0dip</dimen>
<dimen name="keyguard_lockscreen_status_line_clockfont_bottom_margin">12.0dip</dimen>

Changed the 42 to 25, 56, then to 75 but didn't see any changes. Not sure if maybe I have to edit any other xml as well.
Changed the font size from 95 to 80, hoping that maybe the font was too big, butthat just changed the size of the clock and not the position.

As far as changing the date and status, those should be in framework-res/res/values/dimens, correct?

At this point I have no more ideas and am at a total loss of where to look!

In my opinion,I like the gradient look better...definitely with a red touch. I think the red menu is going to give you troubles just like my blue ones did for me, unless you are going with a white text...or possibly a black text.

I hadn't changed the text yet, that's why it is still blue.
I like the gradient better and I was thinking about using red icons. Not sure what I'm going to do with the text on it yet though.
