It doesn't matter if you are rooted or not.

When you go to install the leak, you'll become unrooted. Your choice of either 1) using OTA rootkeeper to backup root, or 2) just re-root after installing the leak. All leaks thus far are rootable.
The Leaks checkfor the presence of various files, but do *NOT* check for presence of root.
