NO ONE has answered whether a phone locked to any telecom carrier, much less a Canadian carrier, can be unlocked and used in the US! If you think I'm wrong then point to the thread and/or post otherwise.

I have had to ask and ask and ask to get any but a few questions responded to here. It's like pulling teeth.

If you do not want to respond to technical questions here, then either shut up or tell us all where else we can get technical questions answered on this phone.

I've told you! Now you're pissing me off. Call T-Mobile! Google it. If T-Mobile uses gsm, a gsm phone will work!

Call TMobile to unlock the phone. Is that your answer?

Really?

Because as I told YOU, the TMobile store doesn't know ANYthing.

Happy? I just called T-Mobile and they said yes! You need a sim card from them and they you go.

I have a SIM of course, and the large ones can be trimmed down to fit the micro format.

However, be advised that having a SIM is -not- the same as unclocking the phone from a carrier. They are -not- the same thing.

You don't like my answer? Then GO AWAY! We don't need you trying to troll and/or being a nuisance. I've answered you enough.

Your answer is -wrong-. That does not make me a troll, LOL.

As I said above, if you do not want to answer, then shut up.

A Verizon phone has to be an XT912. And that can't work on US TMobile.

Few actually know, for some reason.

Normally there is an unlock utility you have to run, maybe with adb or fastboot.

Do you listen at all? Do you speak English? Or are you illiterate? A rogers xt910 will work on T-Mobile if you buy a T-Mobile sim card. The Verizon RAZR will not because it is firmware locked. Deeper than software. You have your answer. You can either do it or walk away. I've answered you questions. I've called T-Mobile myself and told you! So you have your answer!
