Although it's a fairly minor thing it's sparked debates in multiple forums across my daily view over the last year or so. So here I pose the question to you guys. Do you put your phone in your pocket upright or upside down? This obviously influences many people's preference on location of the headphone jack and I'm curious to see if it's heavily slanted one way or the other. Me personally? Upright.

Upside down. I naturally pull it out of my pocket and get to tex-twee-posting right away.

Upside down, same reason as Matt, when i need it its already facing right-side up.

Headphone jack facing up if I'm listening to music for obvious reasons, otherwise I don't think twice about it.

Headphone jack up always, mostly because I'm using the first Droid Razr with a slightly thicker 'top' so I pinch the phone by that and slide the bottom into my pocket each time.

i pocket my phone in my cargo pants.. normally its on its side in my side pocket i use my bluetooth headset to listen and enjoy..

99% of the time UPSIDE DOWN so that its NOT upside down when i pull it out of my pocket.. the only time its upright is when im at the gym (which is not that often anyway) cause thats the only time i use wired headphones instead of bluetooth

That said, I also use the aux input in my truck and set the phone in my cup holder. Ergo, I prefer the headphone jack on the top despite normally having it upside down in my pocket.

Upside down in jeans, so it's ready for business, lol, but when I'm in uniform it goes straight up, glass facing inward in my right breast pocket. Makes it easier to pull out to check clock and notifications. Glass inward so i don't scratch the screen crawling through bilges or climbing on engines.

Left pocket, screen facing me. Headphone jack facing down. I pull it out with my left hand which makes it easy to flip the phone over for use.

I have a holster, phone sits horizontally with the screen against the holster and the headphone jack facing forward. The speaker is closest to my hearing this way as well so i can hear if i get a phone call at work.
