With the bringing about of a new generation of ROMs based on JB, I wanted to pick everyone's brain to see what they're doing about the issues inherent to JB, namely MMS and camera substitutes.

I'm currently using Gosms and Cam360, but want to know if there are better alternatives. Gosms tends to get a little laggy from time to time and I don't care for Cam360's need to save each picture between shots. Has anyone had success with anything else?

Also, are there any recommended video recording apps?

I have used GoSMS before on a CM7 Droid Eris. I liked it. I've backed off using these ROMS till after the soak test and it gives the devs another week to update them.

I've always used Handcent, and will never change. And I use Camera Zoom for taking pictures.

What about for video? I am OK with the camera apps, but can't find one that will do video well.
Just having fun with Android!

Camcorder shortcut will open the camcorder and allow you to take low resolution video.
