Hope someone can help!

I lost my data connection and can't get it back.

In the wireless & network page it shows a 4g signal but my phone won't connect.

If I cycle the airplane mode on and off I lose 4g all together.

I am running HoB 247 and its running great for the last 2-3 weeks with data connection and no dropouts.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe a bad tower(s) in your area?

If your area is listed as an area they are expanding, this could be the reason, I live near Asheville, NC which is being expanded at the end of this month, I loose data all the time at night, and come to find out when the towers are on low load, they start messing with them to get ready for the expansion, or they are upgrading the hardware in the towers.
Droid Bionic Launch Version 16GB Internal w/ 16GB SDcard version with HoB 247 ICS.

It's sometimes hard to diagnose issues unless you have multiple devices to start ruling out causes of the symptoms you experience.

For example, I got into an argument one time with a guy who said his VZXW phone (BIONIC) kept dropping signal but his GF's phone was perfectly fine. Both were brand new phones (according to him). When I finally got him to admit his GF's phone was not a 4G phone, the $#!7 hit the proverbial fan when I told him that is not a fair comparison as the 4G may be down but the 3G might still be working - he would not accept that answer b/c *his* 3G would not come on.

As we now know, .902 and previous builds for the BIONIC sucked at 4G <--> 3G transitioning. Then, though, he was insistent that something was wrong with his phone not the system.

So, unless you had another BIONIC, or a RAZR / RAZR MAXX around to check with, you'll never be sure if it is your device or the tower you are attempting to connect to - or something else.
