OK, following HOB FAQ which states to tyr a 246 reinstall didnt work either.

Did you use hob and select install or reinstall 246? If you skip steps it won't work

ya ive done both, skipping no steps.. going to try redownloading the hob 246 component ( even though it passes hash)

Im not fixed yet but it looks like i have the wrong RSD

ya for bionic you should have 5.7.. the 6.14 is for the Razr

OP did you get back to 246? I was in same situation, 247 deodexed, with the atrix/razr flashables and when going to 246 it would hang at Android is upgrading finishing boot screen. however if i FDR'd it it was fine.

Okay nevermind fixed that issue, had to boot into clockwork recovery, and run all the uninstaller scripts from the Atrix/Razr-M flashables page and unfreeze stock homescreen, then use HOB to flash 6.7.246 and now everything is peachy once again.
