So I was doing some exploring around and happened to stumble across a post about fastboot files for the RAZR i. I took a look and found all the files, then went to the main page. I looked down in the list and found the DROID RAZR HD stock fastboot files made available for download.

This phone has only been out since the 18th of this month, so to be honest this shocks me. So if you plan on picking up a RAZR HD (or already have), be sure to drop a visit to this site to pick the stock firmware up. Always good to have it.

The HD is incorporated in the unlockable bootloader program right? Teetering between it and the M. Never the less... Good find!

The RAZR M and RAZR HD Developer Editions are... but the retail version on Verizon is not.

I need help confirming this. Looks like the HD from Verizon is the developer edition.

Alright. So the RAZR M has two versions: One that is sold through any Verizon retailer (whether it be a VZW store, Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon.com, whatever). This version is locked with no unlocking capabilities. Then there is the RAZR M Developer Edition, which is the normal RAZR M, Nothing is different about this version, only difference is the unlocked bootloader capabilities. The Developer Edition however can only be purchased through Motorola.com.

I know you asked about the RAZR HD, and this is the same situation. The RAZR HD retail version is sold through any VZW retailer, and then the Developer Edition, which is a Motorola.com exclusive as well.

Awesome thank you. I know I am repetitive and redundant but I like asking questions. My apologies.

I'm not sure if this is a silly question or not. But does flashing the Fastboot files reset the root checker?

This is probably a stupid n00b question, but what is the difference between the XT925 and the XT926 versions of the RAZR HD?
