Is that still Seaside there? or is it Toms River? either way, that storm surge will be high. I'm on the west end of 195 along the Delaware River. You should seriously head inland to a relative or friends house. Stay safe my friendThis is my bad, I said seaside for general ideas purposes of where I was at. I'm actually rite next to it on the other side of the bridge (not actually on the island)and nobody has evacuated here yet.

A couple of things I might recommend:
If you are not evacuating (I hope you're inland) fill your bathtub(s) and any empty water jugs you have with water, you never know when a downed tree might take out your water supply.
Make sure your vehicles are topped off with fuel before the storm hits.
If you have a emergency generator, test it now, don't wait until you have no power and no way to fix it.
If there are any batteries left at Walmart, buy them. You might want to check the bread isle while your there too.

Aint blown or floated away yet..... thanx :-)
Good to hear, man. I think it's about blown past me. I'm in galloway, just off route 9. Power went out for all of 3 minutes, and the wind is non existent right now. We got lucky for sure, but looks like a ton of flooding on the islands. I'm in the uscg, and it looks like four or five of the stations i fix are gonna need some serious work. It'll be a busy week. And to top it off, I'm on leave. Lol

From staying in bayville across the water from seaside its not a good look over here after this. There's like 20 trees down in my neighborhood and some roads are completely flooded no stores open really except for one or to but there's no power anywhere so you need cash or maybe check, don't know. Anyone in the area in south toms river by luigis deli and 7 11 dunkin donuts and gas station there all have power if u need something but its hard to park.

Guess ur as lucky as me. As most of the barrier island floated away. I'm like u. About 1/2 a mile west of the barrier island, in Brick. We made it for the most part.
