Using the factory cable would give me an error everytime, but I used my wife's battery when I got home from work last night (I go to work when she's at work) HOB worked like a charm, thanks guys for your replies. Now am very skeptical to even root again.

Stock cable you receive in the box is NOT the cable the FACTORY! uses to program the phone

The caps are because I don't have italics on tapa

Just recently fxz'd my phone.
(Back to 905, then up to 232 again).
And reinstalled eclipse 1.3. I do still have the color problem in lapdock's play store, although, I have not run into the sysui crash yet.

I have not restored any apps, or downloaded any from play store except busy box. Normally I use titanium-backup to restore apps.

Also, I finally found the root to another problem. Apparently flashing this room also changes my WiFi Mac address to some preset address (00:DA:36:16:DE:EB). I've found that others with this ROM have this same address, including my roommate which is causing problems with connectivity.
Screenshots attached..

This has been discussed in another thread (2 droid bionics). I have 2 bionics and while running Icarus on both noticed that they had the same address and seemed to be fighting for WiFi access on my network and as far as what is understood, it has to do with the fact that most ICS ROMs are being built from the same source. I thought that this one was built differently though.

I did find that thread as well, just figured I'd add it into my post. I'm looking into finding a temp fix, as this would cause me to be forced to run stock ICS.

Hey Folks,
So...I just wiped and reflashed this ROM, and still getting issues with GPS. It takes a few minutes to find my signal. Is that normal with this ROM? I don't remember it doing this. I'm current running v1.3. Thanks in advance for all the replies.

I can confirm, GPS is working fine with this rom. Possible things that you can try:

1.re flash rom, wipe cache, delvik cache, factory reset and system. After flashing is compete, wipe cache and delvik again.
2. Reboot your phone, wipe cache and delvik only
3. If problem persists, you might have to delete the rom slot, re create it and flash again from scratch.

This^ You should just wipe the ROM slot, then delete and recreate. Start completely fresh. Then flash per the above post.

I can confirm GPS works also. I have two bionics on this ROM, both work.

Anyone know of a way to get Google now on this ROM? I'm sure there's a flashable zip somewhere for it.

Its out of date and barely functional. IMO not worth it. Besides Gnow is just one of those conversation apps like Siri. Cool at first but you'll stop using it

True. I just wanted to check it out lol. My friend has it on his nexus and I think it would be cool to have. Better than going to the net and waiting for the browser to open then go to Google then search.

Use your search button on the phone. Its just as fast. And gnow is a pretty big battery drain depending on how you use it. If your already utilizing safestrap, load up CM10.1 or another 4.2.2 based ROM. Be warned they aren't necessarily DD ROMs depending on how you use them. Cm10.1 doesn't have webtop, I had GPS issues (I don't think it was ROM related tho) and it had shorter battery life than stock or eclipse.

If I'm not mistaken eclipse comes with gnow. Press the search soft key and it should fire up.
