Since Razr and bionic are pretty similar in terms of hardware , this question pops up in my head. Can we install razr roms on bionic?

I've seen reports on other boards of somebody doing it and it being successful, but I've never personally tried before. I would think it would work but maybe not!

I just tried it,
Didn't work... all i got was a black screen upon boot, no boot logo or anything!
I do have a 4 slot bionic though, it *might* work with a 5 slot *shrugs*

obviously you guys figured this out...you absolutely cannot install a ROM (or theme) on the Bionic that was built for RAZR...hardware is similar but the builds are quite different. Same goes for any other phone. If it is not a BIONIC ROM/theme it is not going to work

However, getting someone to port a RAZR-specific mod should not be nearly as hard as it sounds, even with the dissimilarities. Alas, I have not the time to try.

all of our mods typically start as razr mods- only that theres a much smaller bionic community so it takes some time for the remaining devs to port. but as john said, i have not found a razr system mod worth having that has not been ported yet
