I was preparing my phone (Droid Razr XT910) to upgrade it to Android 4.4 (

).
It was currently at version 4.1.2.

This is what I did:
1. Rooted the device
2. Used RootChecker as well as Vodoo OTA Rootkeeper to check if the root was really successful
3. Installed RazrTouchBlack to run ClockworkMod Recovery (version 5.8.4.5)

-- everything so far as specified here:

4. On step 6 from the above link, I got an error message at the end: "could not backup Data"
5. So I tried the option Backup into Internal Storage. This time the backup completed succesfully
7. I selected Reboot now

-- Description of problem below

8. At reboot I get a screen saying "Error on coding" and explaining that the system could not find my files and that I had to restore it.
9. After pressing Restore, it reboots and goes to a screen with the green Android and a progress bar.
10. It finishes its work and shows Motorola Logo
11. It gives the same "Error on coding" message

12. i tried booting into Recovery Mode and it says: "DEVICE LOCKED: status 0"

I didn't go any further. What should I do next?

If your bootloader is not unlocked, you won't be able to load a recovery.  It's a 910, so you should be able to unlock.  Unlock, then load the recovery.

I tried unlocking the Bootloader following

However the command outputs an error message: FAILED (remote: unsupported command)

I checked on another

from Motorola, and it does not list the Droid Razr (XT910) as a unlockable device =/

What should I do?

I checked and saw that CWM is no longer installed on my device.

Is it possible to reinstall it and flash a new ROM?

Or ist it possible to flash a new ROM at all?

I stand corrected, I thought the 910 could be unlocked but everything I've found says it can't. :( With that being said, you won't be able to load CWM. You'll need to use SafeStrap. However, I know very little else about the 910, so I won't be able to provide help for ROMs, etc. You can use the House of Moto to restore your phone to stock, though.

Ah, I hadn't found the XT910 discussion forums. Thank you very much!

Yeah, they've been put into "Legacy Devices."  Good luck.
