Evernote was pre-installed on my phone/ICS but I just realised that it is "gone"... or better: Invisible.

It appears on my my Google Play page as "installed" but it is nowhere to be found on my phone, not in the app drawer, not under active tasks/all tasks/deactivated/whatever... also not in the widget list anymore.

That happened although I didn't do anything special :ß
Has anyone else experienced such a phenomenon ?

Sounds like something got corrupt maybe? Note this will most likely delete anything you may have saved for this app. Uninstall it and if you have a file explorer search for evernote and delete any remaining files. Reboot and reinstall.

I can't uninstall the program, since the deinstallation option is only available on the phone, not on the play store site :ß

No, it shows installed, when I click it, I only get a button to "update"
I clicked it, it "updated" the app on the phone. Then when I checked the app on the phone, I get the option to stop the app and "deinstall upgrades"... When I do that, the app is invisible again :ß

Edit
Tried again, luckily it let me deactivate the app after deinstallation of "upgrades"

Yep, luckily I tried again and this time, I got hold of it and froze it. What a strange 1-time-happening.
