What data plan do you need to get HSPA+ support. I just put my iPhone 4S's micro sim in the razr and am only getting H when i read it supports H+

Please advise.

Any Data plan should work. Its the hardware thats not working with you right, or it could be the radio not on the right frequency

You can try a factory reset, if that doesn't work contact ATT

ATT is one of those companies that if you beotch enough, they'll work with you. Worse case, tell them you're thinking about going to Verizon as a result.

I work for AT&T and we do not have any IMEI's of the razr in our systems so i can't let it auto choose data plan as it won't know what to do.

i heard that the 850MHz band could be locked since this device comes from UK. Is that possible?

Doubtful. The XT910 is completely unlocked (except the BL obviously) afaik.
