I've been getting some pop-ups on here too the past few days. Some of the links will open a new tab for an advertisement.

It's not our choice the content of advertising on the site. I personally haven't gotten any, but I use Adblock Plus on Chrome.

Looks like a root is in order. The pop ups are getting worse.

Advertisement Assault.

Are the popups opening in another browser, as in, when you click something are you getting a popup that directs you to an advertizement site? It is possible you could have some malware causing a redirect and popups.. If so, I would try maybe a scan using malwarebytes..

Satman, it is on the stock phone browser. It pops up over the web page with the small x in the corner. No new browser opens up.

Verizon seems most popular. Only this site does this.

That's weird. I've never once gotten a pop up on this site. With any browser, mobile or at home.

I can confirm that the mobile browser is getting pop ups in the same window advertizing computers. I haven't had any on a computer browser though.

I was asking, because it wasn't clear in details ("Did you guys sell out to the lure of spam?") if you were talking about the phone or the computer, as I do not have this problem on either.
