when i try to download files for razr maxx hd, fastboot files and moto2go. porn sites pop up after download starts on my phone. I tried on pc 30-40 windows try to open but cant. I have to hard reboot pc. I am running windows 8. anyone else having issues? I know it is not a pc problem because of the porn sites popping up on phone.
whats going on? porn?

Update...you was right. I had a virus on my phone. Deleted it and reflashed to stock and started over just in case. All the more to run anti virus on our phones. Doing a full scan on laptop now. I have had this connected to PC. Will update

ok, pc did not have virus. still doing same thing. i notice these files are not zipped after downloading. either it is a setting on the pc or these are not compatable for windows 8. i am going to try to download on wifes computer that is 2 days old. it is running windows 8 also. these files should be zipped after downloading. mine are not. anyone have ideas to try? please help.

Got it. I did not have a unzipping program on pc. downloaded zip7 and all is good.

I just upgrading this laptop to windows 8 and didn't know what I was doing. I wiped the PC and all it contents to factory. So starting over.its a beotch. But figuring it out as I go.

I lost all files for bionic and RAZR maxx HD and friends lg esteem. So be careful if upgrading to windows 8 .You can wipe you PC if not careful. So I am starting over. But all is good. At least I can save my phone just in case. I can unzip the files now.

I have read that viruses on smart phones are getting more prevalent. Where it came from, who knows but ran a scan with avg and it was an infection. Every time I would download something it would send me to a porn site. And only then. Didn't even know I had it on phone until I downloaded a file. Never happened at any other time. So folks be careful.
