Almost always my text icon shows I have 1 message although I have read them all or have completely deleted them all. It just randomly shows up and goes away. Does anyone know how to correct this issue?

Go into settings from your stock messaging app and disable notifications. Sounds like you didn't do that when you downloaded the messaging app you wanted.

Thanks for the reply. I did that already. It seems it does it with or without the notification checked or not. I am just using the stock messaging app. Its nothing I can't live with just love to figure out what's causing this quirk I may have to freeze this app with titanium and find another off the play store.

Well you could always try a factory reset if you don't mind reloading your contacts and Apps.
