Well the problem is since everything was deleted that included the custom boostraper app so everytime I try to install it it says for security purposes it has been blocked and it requires me to go to settings to allow outside downloads but everytime I click ok it says the application package installer (process com.android. packageinstaller) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

Download this settings apk and place on your sdcard

Use root explorer or some file explorer that can access system files and go to system/app (mount rw)and rename settings.apk to settings.apk.bak
Go to where you saved the settings.apk you downloaded and copy it to system/app and change permissions to rw-r-r and reboot. You then should have settings back and can install bootstrap and either reflash rom or whatever you need.

I installed the theme, but lost my settings... menu>settings>nothing. No settings under app drawer either... *sad Face*

First are you on RazrX 1.2? if so do the following.


Download and flash this revert to RazrX 1.2 zip

After flashing revert zip boot up and go back to CWM and flash theme and you should be good to go.

Thanks for all the help wulf I didn't get a email on your reply from last month so I ended up just using another upgrade to get the maxx kind of nervous to root the new one but still thank you.
