It's a little different. Folders on your computer containing video, photos, and music, that you select to share with motocast app are accessible from you motocast equipped device.

I love love motocast and moto USB helper. It backs up all your media for you when you plug your phone in. Kinda like the IP@#%e lol

after i installed this crap on my comp and waited forever for the music to be recognized on the phone "music" keeps force closing ah well i still have google music

I'm still trying to set my Motocast. I have 63 protected songs I can't play. I didn't have trouble playing those songs on my SD card on my other Droid(s)
and the twenty or so audio books I have on my itunes are now in my music folders.

Just out of curiosity, is there any way to actually create a 'cloud'? As far as I know, you just connect to your PC, meaning if you only have a laptop (and the laptop is off) you can't connect to anything.

Has anyone tried Audiogalaxy? That's what I use and it works great and it's free. My computer streams music to Razr without any problem and I only have 1.5 Mbps DSL. Haven't had any problem playing any of my music.

I love the Motocast App, This has been the best app I have used to view , download or upload files, pics or music I need at the drop of a hat!
I really like the way it offers timeline and other sorting methods, it helps you find things faster. And it has Widgets!

ive used double twist for a while now, its got a wireless sync, the media player is better than average, only downfall is its not free

I don't know about MotoCast but ZumoCast (Eclipse 1.2) has no subtitle support. Kind of a bummer but I found that Qloud Media Server on market does the job better and has subtitle support. Just a heads up for any others who had this issue with ZumoCast
