Is it me, or does it seem like Moto's playing hardball? Either way, I'm beyond fuming on this one. How hard is it to unlock a stupid bootloader? Have to put the extra effort into getting a brand new phone? Especially one we will have to pay full-retail for since we're already locked in contract with our original RAZRs ....

Click the below link, sign in, and share your frustrations on this post. They obviously heard our cries to unlock the bootloader (as they even cited in their announcement). Lets let them know this is an unacceptable answer to the issue at hand.

Would it be easier to copy the bootloader.over? Is this possible? Is this the only way they could do if with verizons blessing?

No, its a hardware switch. There's already devices out in the wild that are unlocked. I updated the OPMOSH OP over on XDA if you guys wanna take a look
