I have to ask, why does everyone want to overclock so bad for lol?

Especially if you're on the OG RAZR.

Why do people climb to the top of a mountain? to prove they can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have it now but have no idea how to overclock here...
There is no int.d under system/ect to load an overclocking script to

Basically I have the modules extracted and copied to system/lib/modules and thats it.
What is my next step to overclocking? When I go into setCPU it just shows my stock 1200MHz max value...

This is for the official JB OTA Update (.16), right?

You have to set it up with init.d scripts like you normally had to do. Read post 1/2 on that thread for the scripts, but it will be basically the same as the modules script Aviator had :)

Witch thread are you referring to? I tried to push OC modules using the older Aviator 2.0.1 utility from before but less than 1/2 of the files actually made it through. Im gonna have to delete the ROM slot and re-install because it is now unstable after attempting to push the OC scripts to an OFFICIAL JB ROM (.16 Kernel)

The modules need to be placed in system/lib/modules, and then you need an init.d script to load them like in post 1/2 of wirleyes thread. I've been playing around a little, but I can't seem to get the modules to load with the init.d script.

Let me know how you get on!

Here are the new modules:

You have to extract them & push them to system/lib/modules & have an init.d script to load them at boot. The old init.d script seems to work however.

Did you guys have to use setCPU to get it to stick? I tried cpu control but after a few minutes of screen off it reverts to minimum values. Set CPU seems to be holding.

So far they seem to stick. But I manually pushed the modules to system/lib/modules & just modified the loading script I was using for ICS.
