I work for my ISP and here is a screenshot of our 1 Gig speeds we offer. You can have 1 Gig for a hefty price of $349 per month. We tried Safari, Chrome, IE and Firefox. Unfortunately, Safari offered the closest to the gig threshold, but PC limitations can also factor when you're talking about these kinds of speeds. Just thought I would share.

It's pretty nice lol. We did this in the lab. I have the 20/20 at home. 20 up and down is plenty for me. They don't give us a break on the 1 gig speeds. We get hefty discounts on the other speeds. We do 10/10, 20/20, 40/20, 60/20, 100/20 and 1024/20.

I may go with 40/20, but then I would have to upgrade my ONT to the new one. It has less ethernet ports on it. I would have to do an indoor ONT as well. I work for a Fiber To The Home system. The power company here started offering cable, internet and phone over fiber to the home. I have 7 tv's and internet through my current 8 port ONT. That's 7 ethernet lines for tv and one for the internet. The new ONT only has 6 ports, but one is used to read the power meter, so you have 5. One of those for internet and that leaves 4 tv lines, 3 less than I need. I don't feel like putting up with the hassle lol. 20/20 works fine. I get the 20/20 for 10 bucks a month. 40/20 is only 20 bucks. 10/10 is 5 bucks.
