VZW prefers the phone to be sent back unrooted so ur qe code would be 0/1 in that case. If you have Voodoo unroot and reboot to recovery and see if its set to 0/1.

Had to fast boot back to.211 then when at the black screen boot back into recovery and reflash the JB OTA to get the 0/1 back
Being technically only temporarily unrooted with voodoo doesn't change the status in boot loader unfortunately

I jumped on the JB leak and lost root. It was still showing up as 1/1 but root wasn't working even after restoring with OTA root keeper. To clear it up I placed the JB update on my SD card. Used matt's 1.82 utility, option 1 to wipe everything out. Mind you, the phone won't fully boot after restarting. I booted into stock recovery after doing the Fastboot restore, cleared cache and applied the JB update. That seemed to have wiped out everything and my boot loader showed 0/1. Figured I lost root so I wanted a clean JB running till a root method was found. I'm still debating if i want to swap my pristine phone for a refurb ICS phone or wait for a root method for JB.

Following this will be the only way to get back to 0/1 when running the jb ota and wanting to fully unroot to send back to verizon. Works like a charm. Thanks again RNC

NOTHING changes the qe code. 0/1 is the best we can do.

If you go back and read about 10 posts you'll see that I was trying to get back to 0/1 . I'm confused did you read back? I was at 1/1 using everything except fast booting back to 211 . Even if you do all the necessary steps of uninstalling superuser, using SuperSu to permanently unroot, etc you will still be stuck on 1/1 UNTIL you use RNC's method of fast booting back and then reflashing JB oTA. I'm aware there's no way to get back to 0/0 . I apologize if I wasn't clear enough in the previous posts but that's what my goal was , was to get back to 0/1 :-)

The ONLY way to get back to 0/1 after keeping root and installing the JB OTA involves more than just unrooting . Even if you unroot your bootloader still shows up 1/1 like you are still rooted, you have to use the method described above (fast booting back to 211 then installing JB OTA again

RNC really helped out with this I know :-) glad you were able to get it back to 0/1 . I just hope a lot of people didn't ruin it for us by loosing root and then sending phone back JUST to regain root with another razr. They might start eventually voiding warranties for 0/1's :-( that would suck

It's like 100 for insurance replacement with Ausorian right? I'm debating what to do there. The vibration on my phone is going bad. It starts out working sometimes then cuts out. And just stops. Other times it just doesn't work. It's so aggravating! It would piss me off to have to pay 100 dollars though because my phone just stopped working right...

Okay, I just found out that the insurance extends your warranty against manufacturer defects too with no deductible. I guess I just need to unroot as well :-)

This is some good info to know.
Not trying to thread jack.
I just got a second Razr refurb (due to the first refurb having cpu issues)... and I was just trying to figure out the proper way of unrooting it as well as getting rid of any sign of root. Will doing the steps above actually hide all signs of root (SS2, SU, etc...)?
