Hi,

Yesterday I installed safestrap 3 and was going to install the Wizzed Bean CN4 ROM. I was previously running cm10 aokp and followed the directions as they were stated. After I installed the ROM and tried to reboot I got the dead android symbol and the phone wouldn't boot up. I tried to go into recovery and it did the same thing. Now I am not sure what to do. I've searched on google for this symbol but not much about it regarding the Bionic. As Brian pointed out to me yesterday in the chat room I can get into stock recovery when I am at the dead android screen. I was able to do that but not sure what to flash there. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

If your OK with losing any data on your internal system (won't affect the SD card) I would first try a factory reset from stock recovery.

I'm ok with doing that but I did wipe format from stock recovery and it didn't help unless i'm going to the wrong place.

I had the same thing yesterday. Not sure why! I pulled the battery, reinserted it and it powered up fine. Go figure...

yea i tried all that to no avail. i pressed both volume buttons at the dead android and all it says for options is reboot system now, apply update from external storage, wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition, and apply update from cache. i tried both wipe options and neither worked.

Did you try to flash CN4 over the stock ROM by chance? I would agree with ^ that it may be time to fxz.

Yep I am fxz'ing right now. I had tried 905 earlier and it didn't work so I am installing 246 per SPJESTER's :)

**I can report that FXZ'ing to 246 worked!

Thanks everyone for their help!

Ooo, I didn't even realize that. The Bionic isn't my daily use phone and was thinking 905 was ICS. But yes I am glad I am up and running too.

Thanks!
