Which Skype are you using? The crappy Verizon version or the standard version? I use the standard everyday and other than not picking up the mic on my voyager HD it works spectacular.

There are 2 different Skypes in the market. Make sure you get the Skype - free video calling. Not the Skype mobile on Verizon. It works just fine on the razr. I don't think it worked though until the beginning of January so you may have to redownload from the market.

Also works pretty well with the Lapdock 500 pro which has the built in cam on the monitor.

If you skype, please dont use a phone that contains anything that you dont want others to see. Skype's code is wrote by the same people that wrote kazaa, and the reason why it is free is because they use your phone/computer as a host/server for others to connect though (p2p). Even when its non-active its still being used as a host.

Wow, thanks for the heads up. Did not know that, but it would explain why having skype installed seems to keep my fiancee's wireless adapter active. I had tossed it up to faulty coding and moving too much data when syncing the contacts list.

Thanks for that warning. Any such issues with Tango? I've used Tango with my business partner, but his connection is only 3G while I'm on WiFi, so it's like I'm next door and he's on Alpha Centauri. Until he can afford a new router we just make regular calls and email.
