Hi guys, I have razr M and would like to connect it to my car via USB to listen to the music I have in google music and on SD card as well as internet radio. I was able to do that with Original Razr and Razr MAXX. Now for some reason car doe not recognize my phone. I think it is because MASS Storage configuration is gone. Can you please let me know if there is a way to overcome the problem? Is there a fix or work around exists?
Thanks a lot in advance.

As far as I can see, that option went away with jellybean. I have an old car stereo, so I connect it through the tape player.

Well, I did look into this for some time. Apparently Google/Android has seen fit to due away with mass storage at the root .  Without writing a long dissertation here most of alleged reasons why turn out to be largely trite and SPURIOUS . Belive me when I say I could go on an extended tirade about this. Ultimately I personally think Google wants us using the cloud.

At any rate all I could find was work arounds.

After trying a great many things the best software I could find was Android Commander.

Its not the old plug and play but doesn't appear to have a lot of dependencies like the others. Although it says it requires root I don't know if its necessary just to mange SD card files.

Also you can try an app called FTP server.  Its one of the few that appears to be able to access the SD card but it does require user input to do so.

Sorry, I wish I could have helped everyone.
