I made one for my old Batakang ROM. Megaroad made the one for Nexesque (be sure to thank em!)

the xml is located in res-values-dimens line 14 & 15
Take a look at the uploaded file for example- stock size is 48 I normally make it 42 DPI but with the transparent nav bar and the size of the screen I haven't been changing it on the HD build that I do.
If you need further help let me know

Yes if you are able to decompile framework-res you can change the dpi

And this will work for any ROM. CM10 or regardless? Sorry, not really used to framework-res but i'll give it a shot. I'll look up some tutorials.
Edit: BAM! This is what you're referring to right?

Have to change a couple lines in SystemUI.apk too, and then it all looks right. I think I'm using 30 dpi for the navbar. I don't know what's required to make it into a flashable zip, but I think Zooyork knows how to do it.

I made this revision to my download of Nexesque. I had trouble at first because the Back button was staying large while the Home and Recent buttons were appropriately shrinking in scale to the height of the navbar, but I found the solution here:

Hey sorry i never updated this. But i made a flashable zip for my Batakang ROM. I'm not a 100% sure this will work on Nexesque but if you changed the DPI on yours then you can replace the files on this with your ones.
Edit: forgot link lol

The systemui part is to make the back button the right size. It doesn't scale with the navbar unless you delete something in the systemui.apk.
edit: oh you're good?

It works with just the framework if you're getting rid of it completely, but when I was just making it smaller the back button didn't look right until I also changed the systemui.
