yea I got my bionic on the fxz 246 and have the TBH radio hack working 3G and phone service on a GSM carrier but unlike my droid pro the Bionic on ICS is not sending Text Messages

Ive added my apn information to the list of apns and do get 3g but what do i need add to the phone to get
texting on gsm , .....everthing worked fine on Gingerbread

cdma workshop ? qpst ? any link to tutorial would be appreciated

phone is fickle change to many settings in program mode and the phone will give looping android.sys errors
youll have to reflash or reset the phone be aware

currently running stock fxz rom no root to avoid trip wires ,simple APN and Radio edit TBH method
and GSM/CDMA auto PRL gives most bars

phone works beotchn but havnt found any texting program to work

interesting tutorials

Those are the APN settings that I found for h20 wireless. Do they match yours?

have a droid pro the apn info established in the phone has more apn entries from h20 i guess it is becouse the sim and moto software hook up to complete the apn better its running Ginger Bread here are the additional entries on my pro if setting is not stated its blank

Weather or not you add these I havnt noticed a change with texting or 3g's conectivity with ICS 246 the simplex APN H2O provides dosnt specify on the pdf exactly for the bionic its (android )
its really sketchy if you change too many settings the phone gives up connecting to 3g or you get android sys errors a build prop edit is taboo if trying to get signal bars back
what im looking for is someone who may know how to add the right texting info or use tools in BP mode like Qpst to correct the ICS botched APN GB worked fine although someone forgot to notice that adding contacts was buggy and should be the most important part of the phone your contacts so it was time to move on and cant go back to 905 without a linux slitaz or similir
how about a Manual update PRL app or texting diag ?

Yeah most of the time the APNS are put in automatically by the SIM card. You followed the hack over on xda to enable gsm right?

some of my problem is im in a two bar neiborhood running blurry max 3.8 a few more options when in *#*# 4636 #*#* menu you can hit the menu button when in the phone menu and a list will come up asking you about gsm type

i picked usa at first but denied after manual setting gsm auto prl it will let you pick usa i dont know what this changes but cool getting solid 2 bars .... the funny thing is that now the phone says it on lte cdma evdo
if looking at sim with a util dosnt state very much about id of carrier or apn info just register number of carrier mabe there is a handshake between the os and the carrier of the sim for APN regarding ICS isnt being made

no texting yet though
