There is a working method for the RAZR ICS, but with IC3Razr it is not necessary. There is an XDA thread with instructions under Razr Dev for 4.0.3. Currently for GSM but will most likely work for ours too.Is there going to be a way to root ICS or is ot going to be necessary?

Yeah, that was released more for use with the people that were running the leaked semi-complete motorola build for GSM users.
