i have a xt912 razr. i just bricked a week ago, got a new razr root it and installed safestrap when i roboot the phone safestrap screen doesnt pop up to access into. i do have root checker basic says i have root. when i open su an look at logging it says
in green.... sh/data/data/com.hashcode.safestrapfiles/
recovery-check.sh/datat/data/com.hashcode.
safestrap/files
in red.......is:/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/:
no such file or directory
is:/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/:
no such file or directory
im version 6.16.211.xt912 us
4.0.4

i even tied to us fix permission off play store nothing tried rom manger the run fix permission an it wont even run it
i also tried unroot throw su pro an reroot still the same. i use droidrazrroot_ics to root for droidrazrroot.com. i use to same file before never had this problem with anything i was running cm10.1 and revolotion5.1 custom rom on old phone an loved them really want cm10.1 back
please any ideas will help

Make sure your Super user is up to date.

su is up to date just DL off store a few days ago

Make sure you gave SS 3.11 installed & not 3.12. I had the same issue last week when I upgraded to 3.12 thinking it was a newer version, when it's actually the version for the RAZR HD/Maxx HD & won't work on the OG RAZR/Maxx.

Also make sure that after installing Safestrap you go into the app & install the recovery.

thank u phatdaddy. it worke but this is very odd because i had ss3.05 like i had on my old now bricked phone than upgraded to 3.11. so after i got the new phone i tryd 3.12 and 3.11 and 3.05. ive been trying to get it to work for a few day now but today i also downloaded another su so i have 2 su on my phone now and 3.11 worked this time. will the use of a differ su make a differance or u think i just got a corrupted few files before. any way thank u thank u thank u
