Arcanexvi are the ones who "leaked it" and it has been discontinued. Unless you can see exactly what on their computers you do not know more than us which will be the real next OTA. 175 has already been noted too, which is also an update to 173 and is 1MB off of 174.

Please don't post if you don't understand the actual info.

I understand the info, just thought what I read today still referred to .174 not .175. Sorrrrrrry

Another thing I wasn't trying to spread a rumor or false info just was expanding on what was out there which are what "comments" are for. I didn't start a thread claiming ICS is coming in 2 weeks. I was just trying to say that if there was a rumored update coming in 2 weeks it would seem like it was one of the rumored patch updates (.174 or .175) and maybe that is what the "friend"/manager at the Tampa store heard and thought it meant ICS.

Its fine that you posted what your friend told you, and you didn't try to act like was a sure thing. No worries on that.

You need to go back to that friend, though, and ask him where he got that info. Because if he tells you anything other than he "heard it somewhere", or he flat out made it up, then he isn't a trustworthy friend. I know for 100% fact that Verizon has not notified support of anything like this at all.

More of these threads are going to start popping up as people get anxious about ICS coming to the Razr. The simple truth to keep in mind is that MOST of the time, regular Verizon support people don't know about a software update until it is posted on the website (the same place we see it). And within that, many of them are made aware of the update when a customer calls in that has a problem with it. Verizon keeps that information very close, because there is risk associated with providing concrete dates.

Someone made a good point with the fact that motorola is going to blast this all over the place when they have even a rough date to get at least some of the focus off their bootloader debacle.

2) ICS will not be in the next 2 weeks. Probably not even 2 months. (sorry)
3) 174/5/6 probably won't see the light of day in the form of VZW sanctioned updates.
4) We are looking at a new build atm but it isn't ICS. Just another 2.3.6 update.
