I don't do comps but I enjoy installing them. Not saying I know a whole lot about which subs and amps are good. I let someone else figure that out and enjoy tearing into the vehicle then reassemble with the beautiful sound blasting. I think the best install I did was all new interior speakers, head unit, sub and amp in a 04 Honda Accord. The head unit went into the cubby in front of the shifter and the factory unit (climate control, clock, and radio) still functioned except the radio part. I was even told that I couldn't do it that way and needed to buy a factory unit replacement that had the slot of the aftermarket head unit.

Nice. My loudest was 147.3 on 2 12's with a Memphis st1000d.

I used to be sponsored by MTX mainly to go and promote new equipment. Hand out t-shirts and brochures . Got a glass trophy for 1st in 1000 w or less 2 sub or less db drag race comp. 138.8. With only one 12" sub that was installed and given to me as promotional offer.

The look on peeps faces when they find out its only 1 sub man. Priceless.

I don't do comps but I love having bass. Right now I'm only pushing 400 watts through 2 bazooka 10s with an mtx amp. I miss my old system. 2 JL 12s with a 1200 Watt jbl amp.
