I've always loved the little vinyl Droid figurines that come out every so often, they're just so rad (if anyone EVER sees one of
Anyways, I opened the first one and got one of the ones I wanted - Blackbeard by Andrew Bell. Not only is he ones of the coolest designs in my opinion, but he is also one of the rare-ish ones.
I waited a few hours before revealing the second one to disappointment - Bluebot by Google. Bluebot is cool I guess, but by comparison he's just pathetic.
I couldn't bring myself to remove the third one from it's bag. Something in me wanted to 'save' it for some obnoxious reason. So when I was finally ready to stop being stupid I decided I was just going to take a quick peak (he was in the bag feet closest to the opening) and then guess which one I got. Looking back, there are only 13 very different designs so seeing the color is pretty much a dead giveaway. But once again I digress...
The peak revealed a rather odd black and sparkly greyish-blue leg, matching none of the figures on the mini collectors checklist.
After I scoured the list a few times I started getting excited, but took a closer look at the list a few more times. It would be so typical to get all worked up only to realize one of the lamer designs matched it perfectly but I didn't notice.
Anyways, I finally pulled him out of the bag and this little guy was looking up at me!
From what I've read, this guy (which I have named Operator, since the similar design is named Racer) is the rarest of the bunch. And in my opinion is one of the coolest along with Rupture.
I'm hooked on these little guys, I have a case on it's way now . I think the 3rd series is coming out in July and I can't wait!
you have no idea what I would do to get my hands on one). So I picked up three from the second series of these guys and they showed up yesterday (Saturday). I went to the office to pick them up and once back home pulled them all out of the box (carefully of course, don't want to ruin the box ), opened the top of the blind bag, and placed them (opening away from me) on my desk. I always do this stupid thing when I purchase blind items: I love opening them just as much as owning them. For example, when I used to buy Magic: The Gathering booster packs I had a ritual for opening them; look at the 10 commons, kiss the back (and pray haha) of the uncommons then turn them around, then do a similarly OCD action before looking at the rare.Hell Yeah!

Yeah I love these little guys. I just pre-ordered three of the next series (3) as it will be the only release this year. I used an email address that I never check anymore too, want them to just show up out of the blue .
Now I just need to suppress my relentless Android-related website trolling until they come out haha.
