Are there ANY roms that are still here that do not require an unlocked bootloader? I do not feel safe unlocking the bootloader but I do want to root the RAZR M. Are those the only ROMs that exist?

The staff is working on creating a locked ROMs section to make this less confusing. Keep a lookout over the next week or so.

What would the benefits be for unlocking the bootloader?

Flashing a custom recovery, custom ROMs, and kernels.  You have the ability to go up or down in the OS version.

Not sure why your worried about unlocking your boot loader? If your on 98.18.78 there's no chance of that happening ever. Should have done it while you could being unlocked is the best thing ever.

I was just asking before I ever did for the future. But yea it may not ever happen. I was just curious.
