1, is everybody using bootstrap getting reaaaally long first boot after this?
2. what are these permissions you where talking about?
1.) I think the long boot time is due to the fact that cache & Dalvik get wiped prior to install - the Dalvik cache has to be rebuilt.
2.) You can check the app's permissions by navigating to /system/app w/ ES File Explorer (or the like), long press on the apk, then click properties. It will tell you how the app is set. It should be RW-R--R--

Link for bootstrap removed. Really don't understand what's going on with bootstrap users but I'm working on it.
So it's a no go with V3 too?

I just downloaded the safestrap version. Running eclipse 1.3 and flashed the zip but no app in the app drawer. I rebooted and still nothing. Any ideas?

, do you think the issue could due to my rom having DSP manager preinstalled? Do I need to remove DSP manager in order to utilize Beats Audio? Or can they both be concurrently installed. Nitro includes the DSP Manager in Eclipse 1.3. Just a thought!

Well, I got v4 installed & loaded & it's still doing the same thing. No Beats Control in the drawer.
