This is the method for rooting the Droid Razr HD/Maxx HD created by Dan Rosenberg

. You will need to download the drivers and the motofail2go zip file below.

Step 1. Download and Install the appropriate drivers and download the Motofail2Go.zip
Step 2. Unzip Motofail2go
Step 3. Under Settings>Developer Options>Tick USB Debugging on
Step 4. Plug phone into PC
Step 5. Inside the Motofail2Go folder click the run.bat file
Step 6. Follow the instructions on your screen

Note: If the exploit prints an error saying something like "run-as: Package 'com.motorola.bug2go' is unknown", then unfortunately you will have to wipe your data and cache partitions and try again.

This exploit also works on the Razr M, Atrix HD, Photon Q, Razr i

You need to have rooted and properly protected root in ICS prior to updating to JB...the method in this thread will not work on JB...

it's actually not bad...just use Matt's Utility to go back to ICS and also to root (it's ridiculously easy, lol) and then follow the instructions in the JB leak thread, lol...I made sure to add in root keeping method to the leak instructions ;)

it means you are going to wipe the system.
it shouldnt touch internal storage or external. however as im og razr maxx i dont know about the HD setup yet.

however i will say it WILL NOT TOUCH YOUR EXTERNAL

Umm, it asks that after you already went back to ICS right? You gotta wipe, otherwise it'll boot loop and you'll have to go into recovery and wipe manually...sorry, should a mentioned that (that's what happened to me)
