Np, here is a zip of the files you need.

Use root explorer and delete all the files under your preinstall folder and copy the folders zipped up here into that folder. Should be 4 or 5 folders. That zip is NOT flashable so don't try that lol.

Thank you. I appreciate this. I did the safestrap not knowing much about the phone. My first Motorola, so I was unaware of the consequences. I've been trying the ICS ROMs, and they just aren't quite up to snuff for my type of use. So ill just wait until the official comes out. Thanks again.

Np. I know what you mean. I switch back to stock when I want to watch Netflix or video chat with my wife. I just can't seem to stay away from ics tho lol.

I had trouble with safestrap. I had too many apps installed on both I think and then ran out of space to restore stock. How do you guys manage to pull off both?

Sounds like your internal space was full. Have your downloads, pics, and videos store to the external SD card. I'm using the 32 gb card from my thunderbolt so I have plenty of space. Only thing that goes on my internal memory is a couple of ring tones I like and my safe strap backups.

To whomever has/had access to these updates, do we know if Motorola has any more major updates coming prior to ICS? Like perhaps to 2.3.7? Thanks!

We are not being handed these along with documentation, or even at Moto's consent. They are being downloaded from testing/engineering servers somewhat forcibly. We know nothing about them but the information the files themselves contain and what is observed while using them.

None that I have seen. If any were found and not shared, there would be good reason it was held back. i.e causing stability issues, breaking RSD, or causing other miscellaneous issues.
