Somebody told me TXT notifications used to be signaled by a blue LED. Honestly I never noticed myself. Arcane says it was always green, which is what it is now. So really the only thing missing is the power-off charging LED, which used to change from red to amber to green, and now is absent.

Somebody was wrong? Weird...

Nothing interesting. I think I'm going to hold off on the build leaks til something more worthwhile is in them. That way we aren't drawing too much attention from motorola.

Since I live in only 3G coverage, and these leaked builds supposedly improve CDMA radios, would it be worth flashing? I.e. has anyone seen real-world improvement in terms of connectivity and/or speed? Really curious because .173 was supposed to improve the radios but it only seems to have marginally improved my 4G when I'm in Jax.

Questions regarding the files. The first file downloaded as .173 and the .173 file downloaded as .177. Are they flipped? Do they just breed to be renamed?

Also, do the preinstall files need to be there? I had used safestrap too try out icsrazr.

Any help would be appreciated.

The file names are for what version you are upgrading from. So the first means you must be on .173 and it'll upgrade you to .177. The second one will take you back to .173 from .177. Make sense?

And yes the preinstall folder must be put back to stock for the upgrade to work.

first updated my .173 to .177.. no problems.. then tried to downgrade using the rollback file.. and it wouldn't downgrade. It error ed out. anyone had luck with downgrading using the attached zip?

Yup did it Tuesday night. Make sure the md5 matches and your preinstall folder is back to stock if you've used safe strap.

What is all this talk about a stock preinstall after using safestrap? I have yet to see a description of what this is. I can't find any files in preinstall that deal with safestrap. What gives? What has been modified? Any help please, I want to make sure I get official ICS when it arrives.

If you use Safestrap it will delete what was in the stock Preinstall folder. OTA updates check the Preinstall folder. For an OTA update to work, your preinstall folder must be in stock condition.

My preinstall folder has lots of files in it. Looks almost like another system or something. What should I expect to see in the preinstall.? I guess that's my question that no one has been able to tell me. EDIT: Now I see. It is another system. Its Axiom. So where can I find a stock preinstall to push to that directory? I looked around and can't find anything.
