I really have no idea, but since you have a CDMA device, you might try the CDMA ROM version to see if that boots.

It's been a while since I have stopped flashing long enough for my phone to really settle in.

My current set up is gonna have to stay for a while though, Rage with acid audio mod and the overclock with modules, don't think it's gonna get any better than that.

I don't really care about over clocking but I do like having the extra governors etc. Running good with the pegasusq/sio combo. thanks!

Yes, very easy. Magnificent effort to all those involved  . Does the overclocking stick if someone switches to another rom and then back to rage? Does the overclock process need to be redone?

I would say no it wont tranfer.yes it will have to be redone. I don't recommend that anyone who has done oc dirty flash future versions just start over. It is easy! :) PS this should work on any custom rom using 3.0.8 kernel. If you are talking about switching romslots it should stick but I only use rage!! Lmao!

So do I but I just wanted the info out there for everyone else. I love all the stock features - HDMI and a good camera with great battery life and stability. Everything works for me!

Oh no, it's not the problem of being able to boot up.

Root+Safestrap, etc and flashing and working great...

Just that I thought that this was a GSM rom that it would work for T-Mobile.

I even tried the GSM patch, doesn't seem to work.

Tried all sorts of combos, Global, GSM, Selecting GSM only network, Auto...you name it.

What should normally be the setting doesn't seem to give me any reception.

Perhaps there is a certain radio I need to flash?

I'm hoping someone that has done this in the U.S. can help me out...or anyone with any suggestions is welcome.

Thank you in advance!

@wackyjoe I think using a gsm sim card on xt912 is unfortunately impossible. I don't know for sure but check this thread out

Hey guys...I really need your help here.

I have a Verizon XT912...I'm trying to use it on T-Mobile service.

I have an active T-Mobile SIM, so I do know that works.

I flashed this rom (GSM version) and all is good...but when it starts up, a few seconds after initial boot the words: "This SIM card is from an unknown source."

I waited for a bit and played around with network settings, still cannot get a signal to T-Mobile or even AT&T towers.

I thought the GSM version would already be ready for GSM chip, but anyways went and flashed the "RageRom_v2.0_JB_OTA_GSM_PATCH"...same thing.

Am I doing something wrong?  Perhaps I need to set up the network settings a certain way?

The only thing I know is that this phone never asked me for a PIN unlock for the SIM, when it was on stock and even now...I doubt it matters here, but just to let you know.

Please someone...help me!

Thanks!

I thank everyone for their help...

I've tried NV hacks, Patches, Various Roms...the only thing I didn't try was to go back down to ICS, but I would assume it would be the same.

I hate quitting on something that I still believe is possible.  I feel as if I'm 1 "lock" away and it kills me to quit right now.

Thank you again everyone!
