Has anyone tried flashing this rom using CWM? Did it work?

It will work with an unlocked bootloader, but you need to change the updater script.

Also, Timpohladthomas has a fixed version on his dev-host.  I've flashed it and it works perfectly.

I always wipe system with everything not sure why it's failing for you I can get it to flash fine but I remember some people having problems with it because it has no updater script in it because it's made for ss

Has anyone had any volume problems? My navigation, my Google search voice, YouTube and a few other volumes seem to be very quiet, I turned up every volume option I could find, but the ringtones that came on the ROM are very loud, that's it though...

I didn't have issues when I was in it.  Check to see if there's a "safe volume" option somewhere in the settings menu.  If there is an option, and it's checked, uncheck it.

You have to flash a 4.1.1 boot.img

It might be too late to wait until your warranty is up to unlock

Even though once you unlock Verizon can't relock you but they could keep you from unlocking in the first place if they patch the hole

I think like the water damage insurance you buy yourself stays good because it wouldn't be software related
