Thanks man its a lil different from what i wanted but i can try that till my gimp skills get a lil bit better. Im trying to take the stock spinners and change them from white to the ICS blue color and i also want to change the lock screen to the blue instead of white im just having problems with gimp :)

That is what he gave you. The blue spinners. You just need to swap the images.

You must save as a .png also you must switch image type to RGB instead of indexed.

To get a transparent background I have found the easiest way for me is to:

1. Open image then select all and cut
2. Ctrl + L will open up layers window
3. Right click on background layer and choose delete layer
4. In the main workspace paste the image stored in the clipboard.
