did you root before or after installing ICS?

A lot of users are losing root even with rootkeeper because they are not using the temp unroot option. If you back up root, temp unroot, install ota, then restore root, it works.

I cannot wait till this drops Wednesday. So glad I didn't jump on this leak. Sounds like a lot of people had issues installing it. Come on Wednesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol. True. But this leak came out on the 31st. If it was just posted today, I would have questioned it too. But it is the real deal. Loving ics!

I updated and have root. temp unrooted also had forever root dont know if that helped because i temp unrooted

To complete this OTA ICS update on :
Is this all I need to do, or do I have to get rid of safestrap and revert back to some stock state (steps? )
1) temp un-root
2) install OTA
