Im a huge fan of the added menu soft key. Moto doing away eith the Menu key was the lone drawback for me with my new HD. Is there anyway I can shift the menu key to the left side so it'll be exactly like the OG Razr setup?

I would need to change a few lines in the systemUI.apk. it isn't too hard so I could probably do it for you. Do you know how to use adb to push an apk to your phone?

Hey trik,

 

Can you try the utility, but before you push make sure you have RW access on your /system. I'm on gtalk if you need help doing this with ES file explorer.

I had probs installing adb but I just didnt have too much time to really dig into it. 

 

Just send me the .apk and I can take it from there.

I've finished the apk, but I've been having trouble getting adb to push it to the phone. I've been looking into it all day and I haven't quite got it yet. Do you still want the apk to try yourself?

I loaded this ROM last night and love it! It's the only one that would actually install on my device for whatever reason. Needless to say I'm impressed with it.

Question for you, unlocked bootloader?
There is a thread under the RAZR M where they figured out how to get any of the old Roms to flash without safe strap. Should work for us too, but don't use their files, you'll have to get them from a RAZR HD.

Yes, you guessed correctly, I'm unlocked. Aviator works well. A tweak or two and I'd have no reason to switch away from it.

I will be working on it a bit when I get back into the country (I'm on holiday). Its just a bit tricky not having the phone, but I will still try to support and improve this

The OP has been updated to v1.0.4!

 

This update brings a significant improvement to this Blur based ROM. If you weren't impressed with the previous versions, I recommend you give this version a go and you will hopefully notice the difference.

 

Change Log:

v1.0.4

Added AOSP Lockscreen.

Added AOSP 4.2 Keyboard.

Added AOSP Browser.

Reworked the tweaks - Should be smoother with better battery performance.

Updated most apps.

 

I am working on updating the OP images, and will push this via OTA updater later on today.

Anyone know if ROM toolbox works for restoring apps on this ROM? I haven't had too much luck with 4.1.2 ROMs with restoring the data portion of my backups.

I'm not sure about RTB, but I know Titanium Backup works. The free version is included in this ROM to help restore your apps

Does this rom still require safestrap or can it be flashed on it's own with twrp? Unlocked bootloader of course.
