Just downloaded & flashed now. Currently waiting for the system to finish upgrading/optimizing. I'll report any bugs I find. Thanks for this DT!

Does this need to be flashed with the ics bootstrap?

I backed up stock, ran this script, rebooted and ended up unrooted. So I restored my back up and booted up with NO SCREEN. Nothing. Just bootloop with vibrate. Worse than bricked. I am actually RSD'ing back to stock .744 all over. Anyone know WTF I did wrong? This totally sucks

I'm thinking that restoring is not an option yet, even with the icsbootstrapper. As far as root, you could try other techniques to restore such as the terminal commands that DH discovered.

/system/su-backup

mount -o rw,remount -t yaffs2 /dev/block/system /system

cp /system/su-backup /system/bin/su

You're very welcome but this is definitely not my script, droidth3ory made this for us and I just simply posted here.

I have tried and tried many times to restore a nand backup and restoring system always fails. You are absolutely correct, nand restore does not work. Despite the fact that it say it does in the OP for the recovery.

I've flashed a couple different things on the ics leak with both the RAZR and ics bootstrap. There seems to be virtually no difference between the two from what I can tell. They both worked fine.

Question for you: Do you use Voodoo to protect your root? If so, before booting into recovery & attempting to restore your nandroid backup, open Voodoo and delete your backup of root. This has caused issues for me previously! Let me know if this works for you

Edit: Confirmed by other users that this works!

Wait, I'm lost. So I delete the root backup but remain rooted right? Otherwise how would I boot into CWM?

I just read this after checking the hive. I didn't see in the instructions where you had to use a specific bootstrap. I used safe strap and so far the only problem I've had, would be when trying to shut down data on screen off, it doesn't like to restore data. Other than that, it had worked flawlessly.

Found an interesting issue. Upon rebooting, does anyone else's boot animation look different? Mine used to take up the full screen and now it only utilizes a tiny portion. I've tried changing animations as well, they are all tiny! Is there anything in here that would cause this? Not really anything more than a cosmetic issue, but I'm curious.

This happened to me, all you need to do it hold power and down volume to shut it off and then turn it back on, it should boot up normally.

Agreed, mine freezes on the Motorola Dual Core screen at boot but another hard reboot fixes it. Weird bug, hope DT can solve it.

My phone actually froze after letting charge all night. So rebooted it and it got stuck on the moto logo. I had to press power and volume twice to get it to boot. What a scare
