Hi guys, first post.

After the 4.1.2 upgrade, I started having lots of reboots in my maxx hd.

I am almost sure is kernel related bc I did not have problems in the 4.1.1 sw.

If someone that has an unlocked bootloader could install 4.1.1 from an sbf and tell if the problems are gone, would be great!

here is the sbfs:

I am not doing that bc I do not use custom roms so dont want to unlock BL. If someone has, this could help much. It is different from using safestrap, because safestrap uses the same kernel, from what I read.

I am posting here bc seemed like more specific to my device than XDA, where I posted it too, as a follow up.

I have a Dev edition HD and have run 4.1.1 & 4.1.2 since release day and no issue with either build rebooting. Heck right now i'm running the 4.1.2 kernel & a 4.1.1 ROM without issue and have not had it reboot.

Hm weird it did not happen to me in 4.1.1. Is there a mem area that does not get flashed when sbfing the phone?

Not sure really as i rarely if ever use the full XML file. i just manually fastboot my devices when its needed. That said my suggestion if you are not unlocked is to use the full XML along with RSD Lite and reflash the device. Once it is finished i'd manually boot into stock recovery and do a factory reset & wipe cache then boot it up and see what happens with it.

I only removed the getvar lines in the XML because if not, it wont flash. Did your procedure, keeps doing that... Any other option? Flashing 4.1.2 again cause my locked BL wont let me flash 4.1.1
