hello i recently purchased a 16gb droid razr and was trying to use the hdmi on it but its not working. its android 2.3.6 system version 6.12.173.xt912.verizon.en.us and its rooted. i tested my hdmi cable with my droid x and it works fine. when i plug it into my razr it says its connected, but nothing comes up on my tv. does anyone know what the problem could be? if you need more info i'll provide it. here is the tv im using :

You have the hdmi enabled box checked on your phone under settings? I can't tell you where to find it because I am running the leak.

Hmmm i need to know where that is. When i go to settimgs>hdmi there is only one option and thats not it.

I'm using Sony's cable for don't Ericsson, and works fine.

Doors it shore at least the red motorola logo? Is there a pop up screen on your phone?

Initially mine just displayed red motorola logo on the tele and nothing on the phone. I unplugged the cable, and unfroze several apps, gallery, webtop, webtop connector or something like that and dock.. One of them diss the trick and now a pop up comes asking me which hdmi mode o want to use.. I choose mirror, and it worked great!

My advice is, check if you gabber one of those files frozen..

Im sure its the cable. Nothing comes up on my tv.
