New roms

Can't post them on here but the are two new roms over on XDA. Black Bean 9 and PACman. Both are android. 4.2.2. They are ported over to work with our phone by BKjolly, with the help of Dhacker and Hashcode. Go there and find them. All info is in OP in xda.

Note: MUST HAVE UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER.

I love the BlackBean series of ROMs, I've been running BB on my tablet for several months.  It made me happy to see this come along.  Thanks for posting here.

I love the BlackBean series of ROMs, I've been running BB on my tablet for several months.  It made me happy to see this come along.  Thanks for posting here. 

 

I flashed the Black Bean last night, I love it. It is freaking awesome. Only bug I see is camera preview and the glitch before boot animation. Eveything else seems to work, no lag, reboot to recovery is there, TONS of customizations, usb connection works, GPS works, WiFi works. Didnt check NFC or WiFi Direct cause I never use it.

I found my dd about 3/4 weeks ago.. Currently running dtrail1 kernel (BSE and or OC) all is good, dont even have the urge to flash anything else..

 Yes It is all there

 

To get to developer options in system settings you have to go to about phone and do the trick to enable it, like every 4.2 rom

just flashed PACman.... really really love it!  not sure what the difference is between that and Black Bean (aside from some colors/theming).  can y'all confirm if the e-mail is working on black bean?

just flashed PACman.... really really love it!  not sure what the difference is between that and Black Bean (aside from some colors/theming).  can y'all confirm if the e-mail is working on black bean?

I've used both on my tablet.  I only tried PACROM for about a day and didn't like it nearly as much as BB.  PACROM incorporates way too many things, and in my opinion they don't integrate that well.  PAC's selling point is the hybrid properties that allow you to tweak settings for each app, individually.  It will also allow you to set tablet, phablet, or phone UI.  It does have pie controls built in, but you can have that on any ROM if you use LMT.  BB is like PAC, as it takes source from all the Android projects.  However, I think it was integrated better and there are far more options to tweak.  You can find init.d and build.prop tweaks built right into the settings menu.  Also, everything on BB is in a dark UI.  Both are buggy right now because they are based off of 4.2.2.
