I think all anti virus programs have there issues with customs addons. Take for example Avast and Superuser. The other day it block Superuser from granting su on a app which I couldn't understand why, because you need to be rooted to utilize the firewall feature on Avast.

No. The Kexec kernel will only allow ROM slot installations. Damn locked boot loader....

I don't know what is different about this ROM but I have a favorite app that ran fine prior to the 4.2 update. It is called Newspaper Puzzles, has crossword, Sudoku & word search. The crossword feature will not work on android 4.2 except on OD-RedHot.  William Chandell (

) the apps creator is working on a fix, still. I have tried to run it on flying jelly, liquid, pac, and stock and redhot is the only one.

 

I already loved this ROM but what a bonus!

it is probably because of the kexec kernel for this rom, but hey...who cares as long as it works! :  i am glad that you are enjoying it

 

i know that this thread has been a bit quiet, but work is being done, especially by nobe1976....he is a madman haha. there are just a bunch of little things that muddy up the waters when we try to put what we want into this rom, so thanks for bearing with us on this

Well i dont usually text that much, but everytime i tried it it did the same thing keyboard would just flash and disappear.

i use swiftkey the red theme.. blends in perfectly!!

My tablet use to do that as well. It has to do with a certain file that the ROM has and gapps write over it for the gesture swipe. If you want I can try Editting a set of gapps that might take care of that or it might just boot loop. You can always use a different keyboard and you shouldn't have that issue.

I have not checked for a couple/three weeks. Is the ROM download available on the OP still version 1.1 or has there been another update?

 

 

It would really help if the file name included the release date.

I believe it is the same original update. He does have a new update I built from the mr1 source. Don't know when it will be updated.

oh crap, i better get off my butt : . i have been working on nobe's build, but i have been doing something different with it. i will put that on hold and get my stuff added to nobe's build and get it out to you guys. you have been more than patient, the least i can do is share nobe's work with you all instead of keeping it to myself
