andymac-

Check one more place...If not in your Deskdraw go to:

  • Settings
  • Apps
  • Slide over to All
  • Scan to be sure the old Version of SS is not their
If not, Flash the New in Stock first...

If it is...Open the Older Version of SS...
  • Uninstall Recovery
  • Flash the New Version
  • Should show up in the Left corner as 3.65
  • Then Delete the Older Version from your phone
See if this helps...Good Luck...You'll be fine you'll see...

Yea SS doesn't show as an installed app on my phone... I believe I delete the ss folder to delete it.. I did it awhile back to get the latest version, but I haven't the slitest right now. Sorry Pals

You have to let the WiFi kick on and do its thing. Mine runs perfectly I recommend rebooting and wiping cache and dalvik cache (you can also do this in the Settings> CPU Control > and swipe all the way to the right and theres and option for it to wipe all that for you and your phone will automatically reboot)
ZK posted up above about if you have a WiFi Tethering problem and how to fix, so I'd read that aslo.

My wifi has been on for 45 minutes and it starts out connected for about 10 seconds then shoots to grey and no connectivity. I've also tried turning my wifi off for the tethering and still nothing.

Check under the Wi-Fi advanced options and make sure "Ignore poor connections" is unchecked. If it is try forgetting your connections and -re-making then.

Did you try rebooting your router and modem? Then go to WiFi networks, hit forget to your network, reboot and then add that network and see what happens. Not for nothing how old is Ur router? Mine sometimes needs rebooting even when I'm on stock ROM. How is it on stock ROM?

I ended up fixing the Wifi thanks to you guys lol but does anyone know how to install a dangerous app? I did an app backup and it won't allow me to install an emulator.

Works great - I love it!

 

I've ran into one problem and I'm not sure if it's something I did wrong. I can't use any of my Verizon apps (not that I need any of them). The one I'm looking to use is Backup Assistant or now called "Verizon Cloud". I get an error message when trying to login. This app was the only way my contacts were backed up, so while it's awesome being on KitKat, it's not fun not 0 contacts in my phone with no way to recover...

 

Anyone know what I can do/what I did wrong?

 

Edit: I have a Droid Razr and downloaded the CM 11
