LOL I 'could' find out but I won't don't play the game....

When you do that can you post here if fastboot to 181 worked for you?

I wasn't on the .84 or .85 leak with this phone so going back wouldn't be an issue.

I can't download the CRC file. I click on the link and get a blank page with these numbers on it

That is the crc. Your browser is opening it and not downloading it as a .crc file.

It installed just fine. The lag the first time you open the apps draw went away after only a few minutes of up time. I used RSD to go back and motofails to root. Protected with Vodo and it restored just fine. Think I'll let it settle a bit then see what I can see. But I'm still not putting on Temple Run... Sorry... :D

This is funny. I just flashed .75 and got the terminal to work so I can retain root. Now, I see there is a .79. Hmmm, I might have to try this out. Before I do, I read it but want to make sure as .84/.85 f...ed people up. You can successfully fastboot back to .181 and flash other roms and be on the update path? Didn't the .75 .zip and .crc files had to be in the /system.cashe folder? I did that when I flashed the .75 and could be why I lost root but just making sure. I need to copy to the /cashe folder right? I do know that if I brick or get taken off the update path it is my responsibility and hold no one to it. Not like your holding a droid razr to my throat lol...that's is a joke.....
Thank you
To powerful to fall into my hands. Click......Rooted. ICS rommed!!!!! Muhahahahah!!!!

When you save as, put .crc at the end of the file and it will save the file you need it to do.
Thank you

doent not work for .84 You get error 7 sideload. I followed the soft brick instructions for softbrick .84. It was a chance, a slim on, but a chance.

For those wondering:

.79 kernel: 3.0.8-ge5a0f66 hudsoncm@il93lnxdroid52 #1
.84/.85 kernel: 3.0.8-gc895fbe hudsoncm@il93lnxdroid52 #1

Same webtop (wt-3.0.0-beta)

.79 Build date: Thu Apr 12 00:09:53 CDT 2012
.84 Build date: Thu Apr 26 00:34:22 CDT 2012
.85 Build date: No idea but you can search ;)

.79 Baseband (radio): CDMA_N_04.17.00R LTEDC_U_08.17.00
.84 Baseband (radio): CDMA_N_04.19.00R LTEDC_U_08.17.00
.85 Baseband (radio): No idea

.79 Build number: 6.7.1-68_DHD-15_M4-11
.84 Build number: 6.7.1-68_DHD-15_M4-16
.85 Build number: Once again, no idea

I'm in the process of dissecting the update.zip to see what else is in there...

What is the .75 baseband at? I had major battery drain on .75 due to new radio.
